Growing up happens so fast it almost feels like it was just a heartbeat away.
Having recently started my role as parent, a blissful and at times over helming experience, I’ve found myself wondering thru several of my childhood and adolescence memories.
Weirdly enough, two different images keep appearing repeatedly: Jim Henson & Apple logo. Both popular icons of modern rebellion:
A man who single handedly changed the puppeteer industry and acted as the force behind an education emblem, and a corporation who has enabled some revolutions (e.g. ipod and the music industry, iphone and the telco industry, aesthetics in technological products and applications, to name a few).
This images triggered several events: Ezequiel is an avid Sesame Street viewer; we are proud owners of several “mac” products and most recently I started a personal quest: design and develop a product consultancy shop of my own.
This blog is part of the strategy behind my quest, and as such, I thought a celebration of sorts for those two images should be done: hence the name.
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square hole. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do”

WOW….
